35 tips to help you start getting serious with an anti~ageing routine
Okay, I need to come clean I used the number 35 because that is how old I am, I turned the big three five about a week ago. I thought, my people would get this, plus it was catchy. However, I only have 20 tips for you to help keep those wrinkles at bay and perhaps age gracefully. Without wasting your time, let's dive straight into it.
I don't know about you but the most beautiful women I know, are always laughing or smiling, it's an antidote to ageing I swear.
So ladies my tips are
1.Laugh out loud like no one is watching you
2.Smile to strangers like the village idiot.
3.Ignore the haters and kill them with kindness,
I promise you that warm fuzzy good feeling will melt those wrinkles away.
4.Eat healthy but don't limit yourself, if you feel like cake eat it, want a glass of wine have it, all in moderation my friends best tip I got from a good friend, on your death bed you don't think about how you should have been better at dieting.
5.Drink plenty of water everyday, I know its nuisance running up and down to the toilet as if you have a urine infection but your skin begs to differ it loves it.
6.Be consistent with your skincare routine.
7. Over 25 start to introduce hyaluronic acid and retinoid of some sort.
8. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week depending on your skin type and needs.
9. Use protection during the day i.e. Moisture and sunscreen.
10 Use treatments at night i.e. Vitamin C Retinoid Acne treatment etc.
11. Switch your routine every 2 months, you just have to swap a serum or moisturiser.
12.I don't care who says you think you are Beyoncé rock those sunglasses everyday and everywhere when it's sunny.
13.Sunscreen Sunblock SPF what ever you want to call it apply it liberally.
14.Apply multiple serums that complement each other to target different skin issues, for instance I have an eye serum those naughty little,..... fine lines that need to go asap, a vitamin C serum for hyperpigmentation and hylaronic acid which I use as a hyrdration serum.
15.Try meditation, people do this differently; some people pray, others use guided meditation, it doesn't matter how you do it, just take time to quieten that crazy monkey that's your brain.
17.Aim for 30 minutes of exercise a day; brisk walking, a little run, a swim, play football with the kids just get moving.
18.Make a day in the week where you pamper yourself from head to toe.
19.Dry Body Brush, it will work wonders for that sagging skin.
20. Finally, be at peace with yourself and others don't sweat the small stuff, it all truly is small stuff my friends.
