Unsang Heros ~ the best mask for acne prone skin
As you probably guessed from the title of this post, it's about the skincare gems i.e. (skincare products), that actually work to target some of the problems me and my family struggle with, yet until a couple of months ago I had never heard of this skincare range before.
If you have been following me for a while you know I am all about highly effective green skincare products. However, I haven't gone completely green as yet, only because I haven't yet found a truly efficient anti ageing portion that is 100% pure botanical extracts.
That being said when it comes to treating hormonal breakouts and acne spots for me and my children, I am strictly a green bunny. This is where the turbliss bioactive range comes into play.
I have always said I trust a brand that concentrates on a few select products that are targeted and specific and as the gods have it, that's exactly what this company does. They only make toners and masks in their skincare range, all you have to do is pick a product range that is tailored to your skin type.
The bioactive skincare range happens to be the perfect match for my family, having teenagers plus me having sensitive combination skin that is prone to breaking out every so often.
How to apply
I am going to assume you are starting of with a clean canvas, face washed and dried free from any makeup or grim for the day. Spritz the toner liberally all over the face and neck, let it sit on the skin until it
drys out then apply the mask on top. Leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes and don't let it completely dry out. Even though I did, the great thing was, it didn't tighten my skin at all which was surprising and actually really pleasant. Wash off with luke warm water making sure you remove all reside then apply toner one more time.
My children said they felt a tingling sensation on first application, however I don't remember any tingle so this is something to be aware of.

This so what Turbliss say about their active ingredients ~ Humic and fulvic acids help boost cell renewal and restore normal functioning of the skin. Bioactive humic substances penetrate deep into the skin, regulate sebum production and superficial dryness. Minimizes pores, improves skin texture, calms irritated skin and alleviates inflammation. Suitable for sensitive skin, which I can atest too as I have quite sensitive skin. information taken from http://turbliss.eu
The bioactive peat toner contains one main ingredients which is Peat water, It's has a very light brown coppery color, and comes in a light and watery texture. I expected it to be slightly drying, due to this formulation. Boy! was I wrong, I apply this to my face and I let it dry, without using any cotton pads to wipe it of, my face feels moisturisered and supple afterwards, it's perfect for all skin types in my opinion because it doesn't leave residue yet you can fell and see the benefits of using it immediately.
This is a magical portion, my son was getting acne spots on his forehead, he tends to be prone to these, I guess it's age he is thirteen, so what better way to put this product to the test.
I love the fact that this bioactive mask is gentle and can be used on teenage skin, I used it as described above, I saw a significant reduction on the acne on his forehead. Acne can be stubborn so it hasn't completely gone but the results have been significant enough for me to believe it truly works on problematic skin.
