Deluxe lipstick review

We all know how hard it is, to get a suitable red lipstick that goes well with individual skin tones.

I have to say my prayers have been answered, in the form of this lipstick from Tesco beauty's Deluxe collection in the colour prohibition or 01.

High end designer lipsticks have nothing on this beauty. It is a creamy texture that applies like a dream, this is not a high maintenance type of product; as no lip preparation i.e. exfoliation and moisturisation was needed before applying.

It was great to apply with a lip brush or direct from the bullet, I wore this lipstick all day Saturday and I can confirm it's bullet proof. It did not budge. I still had lipstick on me at 5pm that evening after eating drinking and chewing my children's ears off.

On the next day my lips were absolutely fine, no chapped lips as a result of applying a long lasting red lipstick, and if you remember, I never prepared them either. When you have gone through the same cycle for ages you begin to anticipate the consequences of wearing lipstick. So in my wisdom I was prepared for the battle to come, trying to repair my lips, nursing them to good health. I was honestly astonished even as I write this review, wearing the lipstick again my lips are moisturised, plump and in perfect condition.

It is fair to say the Deluxe lipstick is a creamy formula that has the staying power of a matte lipstick with the conditioning abilities of a glossy balm.

There is absolutely no reason to spend a fortune hunting for the perfect red pout, it is right there in your favourite supermarket.

I would have never had tried this product if it hadn't been sent to me, but I am sold and this is going to be my go to lip for autumn winter 2016.

Try it after all you deserve the perfect pout.
