Sond Replenishing face oil review
Formular, texture and application
For those of you who know me, I am a bit of a skincare snob especially when it comes to the ingredients. I was fortunate enough to be able to try the Sond replenishing face oil which helps to nourish and plump the skin.
I never have high expectations with most skincare products, because I have been bitten once too many times so if I have no expectations I can not be disappointed.
This oil is as expected, it is an oil texture, however when you apply it to the skin it gets absorbed in 10 seconds flat (yes I timed it) to almost touch dry, yet the skin looks hydrated and well norished.
A little information about my skin, I have combination sensitive skin which makes it very difficult to tailor any sort of a consistant skincare routine, as I need to have a regime that treats the frequent breakouts yet paying attention to the sensitivity issues.
I can not say the product helped with breakouts, but it definately dealt with any dry patches, I noticed an evening to my skintone and a generally well norished dermis.
I used the oil for four weeks straight every single day, after applying esscence before serum and mostly at night, this worked a treat. On the days my skin was a little fusy I even mixed it in with my moisturiser in the mornings. So I can honestly say I have given this little tube of goodness a run for its money.
Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric, Triglceride, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin
Packaging and price
This is the only thing that I have to say needs attention as when lie the bottle flat the oil sips through not making it ideal to carry around when traveling, might have been a faulty batch of bottles but just incase other people had the same issue, I had to mention it. Put that to one side the actual container is prefect, It is a solid plastic 30ml bottle with a pippet that actually works.
You can purchase this face oil for £34 from http://www.sondskin.com you can get a £10 discount if you join their mailing list too whoop whoop.
Great product at a great price point would definately purchase it myself, works amazing for all skin types I say this only because it managed to tame my very stubborn sensitive skin. The sond skincare website is great at explaining why silica and how your skin can benefit from it check it out http://www.sondskin.com/pages/silica
