Brand Focus Oskia
Oskia is one of those few brands thats I am really loyal too, and for good reason. I mainly use three of their products the renaissance cleansing gel, renaissance nutri-active brightening mask and the new renaissance 360 anti-aging and brightening supreme cream. However, I would really like to welcome the new oskia renaissance brightlight serum to my skincare routine.
About the brand
Oskia London was founded on the basis that healthy skin is beautiful skin, inspiration was derived by Georgie the founder after witnessing the effects of the 'Beauty Mineral' also known as MSM's on skin. The oskia team state that MSM is a natural form of organic sulphur, it boosts collagen production, promotes circulation and helps decrease inflammation for a brighter, younger looking complexion.
Oskia also claims to use only the purest, patented bio-actives that are clinically-proven to work. These are a combination of signature blends of bio-available cell nutrients (vitamins, minerals, omegas, proteins), each product contains 9-15 bio-actives. Each bio-active has been rigorously tested for efficacy and proven to be the very best at what they do. Oskia promise to only use the most effective ingredients. We use bio-available nutrients, either in fermented or nano form.
Whats not to love, did I mention this is a green beauty brand which my skin loves dearly.

My skin type is sensitive oily combination though it does get dry during winter months.
My thoughts on the cleanser
I would say this is a luxury cleanser, not a makeup remover great as a second cleanse or first thing in the morning, with continued use skin looks more even and brighter. A pleasure to use very subtle fragrance, does not leave residue. Holy grail product with a great price point.
Renaissance nutri-active brightening mask ingredients
Glycerin, Aqua (Water), Cetearyl Olivate, Methyl Sulphonyl Methane (MSM), Sorbitan Olivate, Lactic Acid, Sodium Lactate, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Maltodextrin, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Passiflora Quadrangularis Fruit Extract, Ananas Sativus (Pineapple) Fruit Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract, Benzyl Alcohol, Parfum (Natural Fragrance), Alcohol Denat., Xanthan Gum, Lepidium Sativum Sprout Extract, Inulin, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, Ribose, Petasites Japonicus (Butterbur) Root Extract, Lecithin, Dehydroacetic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Bisulfite, Phenoxyethanol, Geraniol, Citronellol, Linalool, CI 77491 (Iron Oxide).
Oskia claims that this mask will smooth, soften, reduce the appearance of fine lines, imperfections and refine the complexion. Deep cleanses, reduces pore size, blockages and spot formation.
It helps correct skin tone, illuminates and brightens complexion. Resurface and removes dull skin cells. Brightens and refreshes skin. Stimulates skin regeneration. Stimulates the skin's own moisturising processes. Leaves skin smooth. Increases radiance through increased cell respiration. Protects the skin's ecostystem through the use of prebiotics.
This mask is great when my skin is dull and lacks luster, it helps brighten the skin leaving it with a dewy glow, giving the illusion of being well rested. Coming in at £48 not cheap, though not the most expensive I have come across. Great pick me up on days my skin needs an external boost of radiance. I would say this is not a detoxifying mask this problem is best dealt with by a clay mask.

What Oskia claim
A 360 degree vitamin-rich day cream that combats the ageing process on all fronts. Skin elasticity is improved, fine lines reduced and hydration increased, while targeted actives reduce pigmentation and fade discolouration to even skin tone and brighten. Powerful nutrients nourish and enhance skin condition, supported by free-radical fighting anti-oxidants and a natural underlying SPF 8 to protect*.
This is a very moisturising cream even for my combination skin, as those with the same skin type will atest the balance between moisture or greasy result is very delicate one to balance, the cream is easily absorbed with the skin left feeling plumped and hydrated. Very subtle fragrance that doesn't inflame my sensitive skin. It is still early days for me to claim any other benefits but I will be sure to update post once I have used this face cream for at least 6 weeks straight. So far great day time moisturiser, perfect as a makeup base or alone to show off your that hard work of a consistent skincare routine resulting in beautiful skin.
Oskia is a great brand and the products I have mentioned will for sure be on my bathroom shelf for years to come.
Have you used Oskia products before and what are your thoughts?
